Producer: Regional Group of Producers

Caparaó is a mountainous region famous for the stunningly beautiful Caparaó National Park and outdoor leisure sports. It is located on the border of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo. With altitudes from 600 to 1,500 meters above sea level, the region offers a terroir belt where coffee plants find perfect soil and mild climatic conditions to develop uniformly. Caparaó is a famous heavyweight in the pioneering of specialty coffee production in Brazil from the 2000s.

This lot has been sourced via Costa Café’s local office who have made a regional blend from 10 producers, unique for Kamba. Expect tasting notes of plums, milk chocolate, and molasses. We love this blend as an espresso - the flavours of stone fruits and chocolate pair beautifully with milk for a morning flat white or latte. This is the second year Kamba have been able to secure a lot from this famous region.
