Our first Kenyan coffee is sourced from our sourcing partners Paras and Sanjeev Shah who have been sourcing Kenyan coffee for over 30 years. They source from cooperatives and estates they have worked alongside with since 1990, benefiting from their local expertise on the ground. Paras and Sanjeev are familiar faces to the wider Kamba family in London HQ having been a regular supplier to our sister company.

Mugaga Farmers Cooperative stretches 1,485 hectares across the central Nyeri District and produces 565,000 kg of cherries annually. Grown between 1,600 and 2,050 metres above sea level, this coffee stands out with good acidity, full smooth body, and complex aromatic flavours such as citrus, black tea and honey. This co-op is made up of 3,500 smallholders. The washing process is done with fresh river water from various streams flowing from Mt. Kenya and the Aberdares.
