This coffee is produced in the Woreda of Hambella Wamenna, Guji region. It stood out on the cupping table with hits of peach, lime and floral, spring-like sensory notes.

Slow cherry maturation from the high altitude coffees used in this project deliver delicate green fruit acidity and citrus bursts which is complemented by a smooth, rounded mouthfeel.

The washing station employs 33 permanent members of staff with around 350 seasonal workers joining the team during harvest season. This lot uses coffees collected from 361 local smallholders. The contributing farmers are all registered and a part of the Kerchanshe support network set up by Israel Degfa. This network helps smallholders and their families with access to healthcare, education and agricultural support.
