Your sourcing partner in Brazil

Brazilian coffee

Brazil is the world’s biggest coffee producer, responsible for a third of coffee production globally. This has led many coffee enthusiasts to believe that Brazil’s emphasis on quantity makes producers forget about quality. We disagree. Kamba import coffees from producers that might previously not have had access to the specialty export markets and shine a light on amazing quality coffees that exist across Brazil.

Framework of partners and exporters at Origin

Our sourcing strategy in Brazil is in collaboration with Bruna Costa. Bruna grew up in Espirito Santo do Pinhal and is from the third generation of a coffee-producing and export family. With the help of trusted partners, we import coffees from across the producing regions of Brazil. Many people that we work with are people that Bruna or her family has known. These relationships help us better understand the unique characteristics and flavours of each region to curate diverse and exceptional coffee offerings year on year.

Much more than another coffee importer

We schedule trips to connect you with the coffee growers to build long-lasting sustainable partnerships. We want you to understand the challenges behind the scenes and create opportunities every year. If you need a specific volume and quality of coffee, our custom sourcing strategy allows your business to plan the stock and secure the right coffees. It is our mission to contribute to the livelihoods of the coffee growers we work with. We connect coffee roasters with producers, exporters and the community in the coffee regions we source from. This generates a positive impact on each other’s lives and has seen friendships develop.

Exotic, rare micro lots

Every year we work on special projects and bring you unique coffees including special fermentations. Coffees are fermented in air-tight tanks, barrels, or bags. Semi-Carbonic lots are well connected to the wine industry. These coffees are the result of the hard work and dedication of coffee producers who decide to improve the quality of their coffees every year.
