It is our pleasure to introduce this lot from Fazenda Santa Rita, sourced in conjunction with FMR Café. The farm is located in the beautiful Serra da Mantiqueira, known as the Mantiqueira Mountains, in the border area of São Paulo and South of Minas. The name Mantiqueira derives from a Tupi word meaning "mountains that cry", denoting the large number of springs and streams found there. The name shows the range's great importance as a source of drinking water, and the waters supply a great number of important cities in the southeast of Brazil.

We enjoyed this coffee for its notes of ripe stone fruit, brown sugar sweetness, and hints of chewy caramel.
